Grandmothers Helping Grandmothers

I came across an announcement at work this week for a fundraiser in support of the local chapter of GHG – a dance to the music of Vinyl2Bits. I knew a little about the organization and, now that I’m a grandmother, knew I wanted to get involved. Interested? Look here: Help Lesotho and here: The Stephen Lewis FoundationWith Owen in mind I’ll be dancing the night away. Want to join me?

Kathryn, what a great organization and what a fun way to fundraise. Have a wonderful time - I will be thinking of you guys as you think of Owen and the thousands of grandbabies who are not as fortunate as many of the children in our country.

Audrey, I feel that I've found myself since becoming a grandmother. This new phase of my life is one of greater self-confidence and greater self-awareness. I hope to become a support to other grandmothers as they struggle to care for their loved ones.
