It was a so so party

So, it's like this - Nancy's birthday party was yesterday. So, this is the cake - it's sorta just like the one she wanted for her wedding but that one didn't quite happen (the cake not the wedding). So, I thought let's have one made for her birthday, invite her to Douglas and wow won't she be surprised when she sees the cake. So, it snowed, and the wind blew, and the roads got slippery (Nick & Em went off the road on their way home from church - they and the car are fine), it snowed some more, and where are those plows anyway? So, Nancy did the smart thing and stayed home as in they didn't come. So, we partied, had as good a time as we could without the birthday girl and took some photos. So, check them out here: Nancy's Birthday

Just getting caught up on my blog visiting!
It truly was a shame that I missed my own party and a chance to visit with some of my favourite people! I think this was the best birthday party for me to date - even though I wasn't there, I still feel very much celebrated and loved and feted!
