May Day

Morris dancing is a part of English May Day celebrations. Pictured here are the Cotswold Morris Dancers handkerchiefs aflutter ~ a happy looking bunch of dudes if ever there was.

As lovely as these gentleman are I thought you might enjoy this celebratory dance to usher in what I hope will be a very merry month of May.

That's so great! I've always felt that life should be more like a musical comedy with random outbursts of dancing and singing. Bravo!

Thanks for the memories. As a kid I would walk from Chalford to France Lynch, the next village, to watch the Morris dancers.

They would dance with masks to be in-clog-nitio.
